View ReportThis study assesses barriers to healthcare access faced by sexual minorities using data from the 2023 National Health Interview Survey (NHIS), comparing results to Dahlhamer et al.’s 2013 study. By replicating their methodology with multinomial logistic regression, two-tailed significance tests, and descriptive statistics, the findings reveal that sexual minorities, particularly bisexual individuals, continue to face significant barriers in 2023.
